Hi, I’m Christian, creator of FLORES and freelance floral designer in Ottawa, Canada. I’m currently studying Media Production at La Cité College, where I explore new artistic mediums and continue nurturing my creative practice. My floral style is rooted in the untamed beauty of Mother Nature, the quiet solace of the forest, and the catharsis that comes with creating floral sculptures that feel lifelike — each one its own little world, with an exquisite story to tell.

My flower journey began when I worked at Scrim’s Florist for nearly five years. I started out fascinated by houseplants, but it was there I discovered the world of floral artwork and its endless possibilities. Since then, my life has revolved around flowers: these silly, beautiful, fleeting gifts from the earth. They teach me, nourish my soul and are the inspiration behind the FLORES project.
